  1. Start Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc) on your computer and take a closer look at your hard disk. Note the disk number and the partitions.<\/li>\n
  2. Start DiskPart and select your disk:\u00a0DISKPART> select disk 0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. List all partitions:\u00a0DISKPART> list partition<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Now, select the hidden partition (see step 1)\u00a0DISKPART> select partition 1<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Type\u00a0DISKPART> detail partition<\/strong>\u00a0and verify that it is hidden. Remember the Type value, this will be handy if something goes wrong.<\/li>\n
  6. Set the type of the hidden partition to 07. Type\u00a0DISKPART> set id = 07 override<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. If everything goes ok, you will receive the following message \u201cDiskpart successfully set the partition ID.<\/em><\/strong>\u201c<\/li>\n
  8. All\u00a0done. Type\u00a0Exit\u00a0<\/strong>to close DiskPart.<\/li>\n
  9. Check the Disk Management to see witch drive letter has been assigned to the recovery partition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
